This
porcelain urn is handmade on the potter's wheel, then finished with
a Cobalt Field crystalline glaze. A piece of quartz crystal with
citrine inclusions forms the beautiful lid handle, which is attached
after firing. The crystals in the glaze form in the kiln in a natural
process that occurs at 2000 degrees fahrenheit. The kiln is held
at that temperature for several hours in order for the crystals
to grow. Since it is a natural process, the size and location of
the crystals varies, making each urn completely unique. Photo
