This porcelain urn is handmade on the potter's wheel, then finished with a Titanium crystalline glaze. A chunk of desert rose crystal forms the lid handle, which is attached after firing. The crystals in the glaze form in the kiln in a natural process that occurs at 2000 degrees fahrenheit. The kiln is held at that temperature for several hours in order for the crystals to grow. Since it is a natural process, each urn is unique. Photo is of the actual urn you will receive. Once it is sold, it will be removed from the site.
